Giving Credit where Credit is due ... eBay's Call Back response time!

In the recent past I needed to speak with eBay on about 5 occasions and each time I used the "Have us call you" link on the page below.  And each time that eBay called me back they did it in less time then the wait time posted and one call was almost immediate.  Because of this it is time to Give Credit where Credit is due for eBay's EXCELLENT response time on the Call back feature!!!!

Most of these call back requests were made in the evening Eastern time ...

I would request a call back and get one usually within a couple minutes.

The reps have always been very helpful too and have taken care of what I needed at the time.

The call back feature has been working fine at all hours of the day. Normally, the call backs have all been within 5 minutes. Don't forget to click the confirm your call back number!!!

i have used it many times and i think 3 mins was the most!!!!!!

BUT the reps on there are hit or miss, i have had them tell me complete lies and had reps not a clue how to do there job, and on the rare occasion i get a great rep, tho i have found that contacting thru facebook is the best way to handle any issues. direct thru facebook messenger.

The first time I chose the call back feature I sat there for about two hours without a callback.

To be fair I can't blame eBay for that because I finally realized later that I made a typo in my

phone number when I gave it to them.

The few times I have used it after that the wait time for the callback was less than a minute.

Yes.  Recent experience was 3-5 min on 2 separate situations, which is excellent considering both involved payment snafus that e-Bay needed to correct in my favor.  And they did!

My only commentary is that sometimes the click-thru to find the chat box to ask for a call back feels like a "maze" under certain topics and others, readily apparent.

It would be moat helpful if it were never the "maze".  🙂

I have had 2 recent problems that needed attention from eBay. I tried the Chat with an Agent option and I had Great Service. Waited less than 1 minute for an agent to live chat. One time was 3 INR items and they took care of it in minutes. I will use chat again tomorrow to have a neutral FB removed. eBay relisted an item that I sold 2 months before I sold it twice and customer was not happy with my decision..

@katzrul15   I used to get the maze too so I bookmarked two call back pages I found ... now I just use the bookmark page.  That's what I posted in the OP for convenience for those who may want a link ...

How the hell do you call them to get a call back. The nearest thing to contacting someone is a computer and it didn't make any sense. I'm ready to go to Amazon
