Getting threatened about giving me a negative FB over a 1.00 sports card

I sell cheap dollar sports cards and ship them between cardboard in a ese, never had an issue til this guy, messages me with a picture of the sports card stating I better learn how to send these ,it isn't in a sleeve, well first of all in the description it doesn't say it comes in a sleeve, I can see there is no damage at all to the sports card, he's just mad cause I didn't send a dollar card in a sleeve instead of cardboard,  I told him I do 30 day free returns and to return it even though it's not damaged, I have 100 percent feedback, I'm thinking he is just one of those buyers that likes ruining 100 percent feedback, it took me a year to get to 100, so far no negative but I will ask ebay to remove it, since it wasn't even damaged.

Sounds like your buyer may be fishing for a freebie.  

Suggested response:  "If you are disappointed with your purchase, please return it for a full refund."

Once you receive the returned card, refund the buyer & make sure that the buyer gets added to your Blocked Buyer's List, if you haven't already added them.

And, if the buyer has damaged the card in any manner, report the buyer to eBay, using the "Report this buyer" form.

Don't respond to any more of the buyer's threats, except by repeating the statement that I previously suggested.

And maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in some penny-sleeves, which will be tax deductible, as well.

Thank you, he sent a picture showing no damage to the card, just to show me he didn't like how I wrapped it, a pictures worth a thought words...lol

Lots of folks are just wired that way. Google their user ID and I bet you see negative Yelp reviews.  One thing EBay teaches is that flakes are worldwide!!!

Sports cards are a great seller for me.  Block this bidder.  Request the feedback be removed.  Above all don't let it get to you.  Press on.  You've shown a great track record as an awesome seller.

You use a female-presenting avatar.

That in itself can set off the basement dwelling incels.

Also the lower the price/value, the more likely the buyer is to be difficult.

A threat of negative feedback can be Reported to eBay. They do not allow that at all.

Yes, that's me in the avatar...it seems more personable, haven't had a buyer like this in awhile, so maybe it will be another year before it happens again....

I have several accounts and various avatars.

I have noticed that I get more negativity on the Boards when I post with one of my more feminine presenting accounts, although I am the same grouchy opinionated grammar nerd no matter which I am using.

It's not the dollar, its a petty little power play.  I dealt with it selling bike parts, even though on the internets no one knows that I'm actually a dog.

Without a plastic sleeve cardboard can scratch the surface.  It has plenty of invisible microfibers and contaminants.   You will never be able to notice in a jpg what can be seen with the naked eye.  Chances are few card sellers state in listings if a card will be in a sleeve, it's just expected.  It's not even an item specific.  

Not siding with the buyer, just my point of view.
