I sell cheap dollar sports cards and ship them between cardboard in a ese, never had an issue til this guy, messages me with a picture of the sports card stating I better learn how to send these ,it isn't in a sleeve, well first of all in the description it doesn't say it comes in a sleeve, I can see there is no damage at all to the sports card, he's just mad cause I didn't send a dollar card in a sleeve instead of cardboard, I told him I do 30 day free returns and to return it even though it's not damaged, I have 100 percent feedback, I'm thinking he is just one of those buyers that likes ruining 100 percent feedback, it took me a year to get to 100, so far no negative but I will ask ebay to remove it, since it wasn't even damaged.

Gotta give you credit, responding to every single positive feedback you receive.

Most sports card buyers expect their cards to be shipped in a penny sleeve, at the very least. That being said, most will not complain, as long as the card arrives undamaged.
I, too, sell inexpensive sports cards and ship all of them, in a penny sleeve, and a Card Saver, or top loader.
Just my personal opinion. YMMV

Thank you...are you talking about those hard plastic ones or just a light plastic slip cover?

This account of mine specializes in cards and 98 percent of the complaints and negatives and neutral feedbacks I have gotten have been from people who were not happy with the way I shipped their undamaged $1.99 card. It just comes with the territory.
Also, you might want to serious reconsider your card business model. You are only clearing about 39 cents per card after fees and the cost of an envelope and label. It might seem fine until the day comes where you get 100 orders and realize that you just spent 4 hours shipping $39 worth of profit. McDonald's pays $14, you get a free burger and don't pay the extra self employment tax.

Ok ty...I search the cards and find everyone is pretty much selling them very cheap, so trying to stay in that price range, I do charge for shipping, maybe I should bulk edit and raise the prices

Don't Worry about that #@!!*&# Buyer!!, It Takes All Kinds!, Love Your Gnomes!, Do you make them??

I sell my cards in a penny sleeve and ship them in an ebay standard envelope with the packing receipt folded around the card. I list that as how I ship in my listings and I make first class shipping at $4 an option (that I hope they don't take on a dollar sale, cause I will lose money vs the basic shipping due to fees!) I had a similar complaint when I shipped the way you do, so I switched.

Which is funny, because at times a buyer will just leave a negative feedback just to get the item free. I've had to deal with different kind of issues, and most are resolved by just giving a standard answer: Return the item for a full refund. Some never return the item, others I had to deal with was they returned the same item but when I checked the serial numbers they were different, the item was changed by another one exactly the same but damaged. I feel this is getting a bit out of hand.

I have never actually found anyone who actually made selling base model sportscards worthwhile online as singles. They claim success, but it is really just mixed in with their larger card business and dragging that whole thing down. We examined it heavily when I worked at the card store and even the fastest guy couldn't fill the orders fast enough to cover his $10 an hour salary. They moved up their minimum to $2.50 and now a few years later have moved it up to $5.
My profits doubled within 2 months of the time I stopped sourcing and listing low dollar cards and my minimum price of 1.99 made for 3 times the profit of that 99 cent model and even then selling literally anything else was more profitable.

I like to keep smaller dollar items as a way to add up my store listing total I like to have a thousand items in store.
Thank you 😊
