Getting our Payout

Is anyone else really upset about how long it takes for ebay to do our "Payout"?  They do their "processing" and it takes a much longer time than before when our money went to paypal.

Sadly those day's are gone, Paypal floated the funds before they were released, banks can't do that.

This is the way now for most online selling platforms, so you may want to look at getting daily payouts instead of weekly and I assume you use your pending funds for shipping - if you do that I can't see why you would need to be paid immediately.

This is the payout schedule .........when money is sent to your bank.......if you choose daily transfers.  It doesn't take into consideration the time it takes your bank to credit to your account:

The table below shows you the timeframe for when eBay will initiate your daily payouts based on the day the buyer's order is confirmed.

Table is just table and it doesn’t reflect real life like the notification that is sent earlier then the transfer is initiated. This is how it works in real life: Buyer pays me on Tuesday or Wed ;ebay processes/pends funds till Friday and send me notification the funds are being transferred but they don’t due to weekend; so they transfer on in real life on Monday and bank posts it on Tuesday. My daily payouts take 1 week. When you have no sales the timing matters , I understand the poster. Maybe there is bill to pay or some other emergency. No judgement.

I was. Paypal took 3 day max for funds to be in my bank and you could pay extra to have it  within seconds. Ebay said that managed payments will be better (cheaper fees and faster access to money). In the beginning, I understood that from the time buyer pays you receive money in 1-3 days (at least that is how it was advertised). But later it turned out that you get it in 1-3 days after Ebay releases the funds. In some instances Ebay holds money for a week and when there is holiday such as Thanksgiving or other etc that falls in the mid week then it takes 10 days for Ebay (not Bank) to  release funds. Bank takes 1-3 days after Ebay sends the funds.

What I sell on Tues. and Wed. is in my bank by Fri. What I sell on Thurs. and Fri. is in my bank the following Tues.

My payouts are weekly on Tuesdays and the money is always in my bank on Friday like clockwork. Since I do not live hand-to-mouth, I have no issue with this whatsoever.
