Getting a category listing error on my first listing on ebay

I have recently been onboarded on Ebay as a seller and trying to list my first item, but am getting this error:

"To maintain a safe trading environment, eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list in. Currently, you do not have required permission to sell in this category."

I have listing under Jewellery category. Can someone please help me out with this?

Pretty much means what it says..........you are going to have to establish some successful selling history before they let you list in jewelry...........how much no one can tell you.........

Is there a way to know what categories do we have permission to sell in?

not that I know of..........trial and error....

If you are being told you don't have permission to sell in that category, then you don't have permission and will have to sell something else you are permitted to sell.  Do not keep trying to list in that category as it could jeopardize your account.   You might want to contact customer service if you are still not clear with this restriction.
