Geez I Get It Already (Promoted Listings Rant)

I feel like my brain is getting invaded 🤣  It seems like everywhere I look, there's something about promoted listings. Yesterday, new big buttons on my Active listings page. Today, when I look at my listings from the main search results page, I see this. I can't escape it; it is everywhere 🤣  Thank you, I have now laughed it off and can move on.

My cynical take is that eBay is entering the Desperation Zone insofar as the promos as they reach higher and higher penetration and possibly hit a wall of people willing to do them - if they don't achieve an  increase in buyers and organic platform growth, Jamie might be looking for another job to fail upward to. Thing is, there may not BE anywhere to grow with growing competition and tapped-out markets (and an old, glitch-filled platform). 

And yes - OP does great work!!

I agree, it appears eBay is desperate for promoted listing fees. I promote some of my listings, and I think it helps with sales. It just bugs me sometimes to get bombarded with their push to promote on every page I am trying to get some work done on.
