GTC and number of hits on items?

Now that I've been forced to use GTC I am seeing large numbers of hits on my listings. Not sure how accurate that is. Over time it may help me though in choosing what to remove. Not much point hanging onto listings with a lot of hits but not even a Best Offer.

By "hits" I assume you mean views. Trying to assess the number of views on my items has always baffled me. Based on what I understand (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) there are 2 basic ways to evaluate how many views you get. One, Active Listings gives you the number of views per item over the period indicated by the start date. Two, your Traffic Report gives you a total for all listings over a period of time between dates of your choosing.

Now here is where it gets confusing... the two sources don't correlate. Example: according to Active Listings, I average approximately 20 views per listing per month. I average 100 listings per month. That means I get 2,000 vies per month. But if I go to Traffic Reports and check any 30 day period, it only shows me about 200 views... what am I missing??? Is it me? Or another glitch in eBay Seller Hub?
