Usually, the agents and supervisors on eBay are extremely pleasant. Today I got a supervisor who continually talked down to me. I was not appreciative of being treated this way. I probably should cut him some slack because he admitted that he had not been with the company that long - on the other hand, it still irked me.
He had no idea that promoted listings, previously would not roll over as they are now doing and many times at a considerably higher rate.
I have approximately 3,000 listings. I gave him an example of an item that was 6% over the trending rate. I fed him the math - that's a net to me of $1800. He insisted that 6% to him was nothing. I don't call $1800 nothing. Some are over and above 6% and some below 6%. He told me he did not want to work in hypotheticals.
