Hello, All! We've been having this issue off and one for some time now. Our GTC listings are relisting at the quantity that was on the original listing instead of the actual amount of quantity remaining. Sometimes a listing runs out of stock and that's fine because we are actually out of this item. Yet here comes relisting time and the listing is relisted automatically with a quantity available for sale when there isn't any! This has caused us to have to cancel a transaction because we are "out of stock" and this hits our numbers as a Seller Defect. This is ridiculous! This is not the Sellers fault yet we are being dinged for it in our numbers. Anyone else run into this and is there something we can do on our end as Sellers to stop this from happening?

It IS the seller's fault if they don't have their listings on the 'out of stock' setting

Yes you are correct, once you end an item it reverts back to the original amount. This is a very old glitch and will not be fixed I was told.

If you manually end and then relist an item it will revert to the original quantity when you first listed it. Also, if you use the 'sell similar' option, it will automatically use the quantity you used when creating the original listing. But for GTC items that roll over while at quantity zero should not repopulate the original quantity. According to Ebay TOS at least. Contact them and they should be able to remove the defect.
