Hello
I have a buyer with a shipping address for a freight forwarder in Portland
15617 NE Airport Way
Their shipping address says the Zip code is 97251-9615
Netparcel tells me this address is incorrect
Canada Post says the Zip code should actually be 97230-4497
The buyer has been non responsive. Not sure what to do here
Thanks in advance for the help

A lot of FF do huge volume and are given their own zip code. 97251 is contained within zip 97230 and sometimes delivery scans will show 97230.
Most FF transactions go off without a hitch, but some unscrupulous scammers will file item not received claims and rely on a delivered scan to 97230 not matching 97251. If that happens there's a way to get documentation showing they're essentially the same zip so CS can escalate in your favor, but it's been a while and I don't remember what that process is.
Wondering if @ittybitnot might have more insight to share on this one as she (he?) generally has a lot of knowledge in this area.
I've shipped to that zip many times and never once had an issue. If it's not a high value item I'd ship it to the address provided without giving it a second thought.
Is this about the dress you sold for $60?

According the the USPS web site (find a ZIP code) the 97230-4467 is the correct ZIP code.
However, 97251-9615 also comes back as Portland Oregon although I would suspect other areas of town.

I didn't know that zip codes could be contained within zip codes. Thanks for the info. Yes it is the same dress that you mention

I don't remember which one it was, but I shipped to a freight forwarder a few years ago that had two zip codes.
Found out they had moved the city limits so it would be included in the other city limits.
At that time you could use both zip codes and it would be delivered.
