I have been having alot of free shipping being sold. I dont offer free shipping on my items. Especially when there is a 40 to 90 span for shipping price. I'm not sure how these items are being sold with free shipping. I think ebay needs to figure it out. Its almost abusive. I have returned peoples money due to shipping cost being more than the actual cost of item. That's another way that I know the shipping has been manipulated.

If you don't offer free shipping, you definitely need to revise some of your listings. Many say 'free'.

Right now there are 91 of your items showing free shipping. Have you ever listed with free shipping?

" I dont offer free shipping on my items"
Are you saying that all of your listings that offer free shipping were not listed with free shipping and the listings were changed after listing but not by you?

I knew you all would come back with these snippet comments. That's why I said if the span of shipping cost was between 40 to 90. I think you all like to bust peoples balls, when you are having the same problem

I think you misunderstand. For the most part, people on this selling board sincerely want to help other sellers. It seems to me that the previous posts were attempts to find out if you really intended to offer free shipping, or if somehow some kind of glitch may have made "free shipping" show up in some of your listings when you didn't mean for that to happen.
Personally, I don't know what you mean by "the span of shipping cost was between 40 to 90."

That is what I am saying.
I already know if the span of shipping cost is 40 to 90. So I piggy back of a listing that doesnt offer free shipping. Then I add in my own weight and size. Once it has been listed. No matter if it's free shipping or not. I always check the listing for flaws.
I have had 2 big items canceled by me becouse free shipping had been applied. Then today, I had another one sell with free shipping. I didnt know if others were having same issue.
About a month ago. I did have a buyer reach out to me. He said one website said my items had free shipping, but ebay showed a charge. I'm wondering if him sending me a message. Opened up this free shipping "porthole" back to their website. Now free shipping on everything seems to apply

The statement of 40 to 90. Means if I sell a motor off a lawnmower. I know it's not going to fit into a flat rate priority Mail. So the span of shipping cost it "x" to infinity

Personally experience........ I, sometimes, sell and ship items for which the shipping is more than the item cost....... Sold a scarecrow to Cal.......cost $65, shipping $68, happens with heavier/bigger items....especially things like a "lot" pyrex..... so the idea that high shipping precludes a sale is not necessarily true.
My shipping is what the PO charges and if people question the cost, that's what I tell them, giving the weight/dimensions and my zip code along with the link to the USPS calculator.
Like you, I sold a Ronco Rotisserie for about $50 in shipping, but item price was $74.
Not sure what you are saying, but there are very few times I list with free shipping.....perhaps ties or other lightweight items. I prefer people SEE what the shipping charges are.......which may/may not help a sale; but that's just my choice.
Some can offer items at lesser prices with free shipping, simply because they paid so little for the item and are willing to sell quickly (they hope) rather than make a higher % profit.........their choice.

The other posters are telling you that your currently listed items DO show free shipping. You need to go check each and every listing you currently have up and FIX it quickly.
All these cancels will cause defects and you could end up losing your ability to sell here.

Are you using calculated shipping?

Odd response from you.
I was trying to help by asking a question to understand your problem, I still don't know but good luck.

Cynthealee2 is right. You really, really should check each and every one of your listings and correct your shipping costs. You've got a lot of listings that indicate you will ship them for "free". Checking and correcting all of them will take time. But it's really the only way.
If you're staying-at-home in this pandemic, this could be a really good way to pass the day!

Because other sellers can sell their items cheaper, you think Ebay is manipulating the system somehow and not allowing you to lower your price to what others are asking ? Interesting concept.

Well, definitely not anything I'm interested in doing, but if that's your take from us trying to ask questions to help, then carry on. I guess you aren't interested in help after all. No, it hasn't happened to me.
