Free Listings

I was hoping Ebay would continue showing thanks for small sellers with extra free listings in 2021. I don't have a store so normally am charged .30 monthly for listings over the 50 free. However- there have been extra free listings for so long I really got used to it. But, those ended on 12/31/2020. Has anyone else seen info on this topic?

Hi! Ebay now gives non-store owners 200 free listings per month.

Re: Free Listings

The fee structure for sellers who don't have a store subscription changed in August. You now get 200 free insertions per month. Above that you pay 35 cents each.

Re: Free Listings

I received 200 free listings this morning - helpful as we moved this fall which interrupted listing - so, thanks, ebay.  But I did lose my Top Rated Seller status due to number of listings per year - am I losing a lot?  Feels rather nice not to have to worry finding a box to ship an item as I no longer have a stash saved in our tiny 750 sq.ft. co-op!   Other than the 10% savings on FVF, does it affect my relevance in searches?

Just to clarify for others ...

Being Top Rated does not automatically give the seller a 10% discount on FVF.

The discount requires 1-day shipping and 30 day free returns in addition to Top Rated status.

Re: Free Listings

in my 200 free listings, these used to have auto re-list for 8 times FREE, but the auto re-list is now gone so all my postings now ended in just 7 days, then for the rest of the 3 weeks of the month I have no active listings =  so ebay cut me off at the knee and no sales and ebay is not getting any final value fees, have no idea what ebay is doing, just like ebay is getting greedy try to squeeze every penny from the small sellers !! any body knows where else we can go for a better deal ?

Re: Free Listings

auto relist is only a promotion for new sellers.its not a standard feature at all.

I switched over from turbolister when it was announced and felt shortchanged  right away.

many sellers were talking about the 8 free relists.that is only available with the short form I think.

I only have access to the long form.........you have outgrown the new seller staus

that is why the option is gone for you.....................

It's time for you to switch to fixed price listings, which last the whole month.  If an item needs to be relisted multiple times, that's usually a sign that there's something wrong with your price or your writeup.
