It seems the option to revert back to the original listing tool is gone! I absolutely hate this new listing tool I cannot use it. I have sent so many messages and feedback trying to get them to fix all the problems. This is just awful, I don't know why they do this. Everything is taking me so long.

Now the Preview isn't working correctly, it's showing an incorrect price other than what I listed an item for and I got fed up with trying to get the Preview to show the price I wanted and Listed it and guess what it had the wrong price so there goes another Revision I have to do.
Also now I'm getting different Fonts mixed in my Description after I copy and paste text. The only workaround I've found is to Select the entire Description and change everything to another Font then Select everything again and switch back to the Font you wanted to begin with. And please stop recommending that buyers want to keep it simple with the little warning box that I have to click off every time I need to make changes to your new listing system that wasn't ready for primetime.
If anyone is listening let us go back to the old system until you get this mess straightened out please.

We are in the same boat. Listing time has doubled or tripled and more mistakes because you can't see everything on one page to proofread.
Everything is hidden in popups there are no account specific memory from one listing to another..... Meaning I have to click 3 extra clicks for every listing to add "immediate payment"...... What a waste of time.
Extra clicks everywhere. It's like they want us to list less. She of the item specifics now accept the enter key as a "done and move on" but half off them require hitting a plus sign! No continuity. And heaven forbid you just click on the next one-it erases what you just wrote!
This tool was developed by people who have absolutely no experience in computer design and development.

In light of this annoyance, I have decided to move on and use the listing tool. I just don't like being forced into it with no other option. There is a saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it". The listing tool worked fine before, but they changed it and made no other option but to use it. That annoys people, and it annoyed me. But I will move on and try to use it..

Yes, this new listing tool is horrible, and it now takes way longer to come up with a reasonable listing. It is unfortunate that a huge company like eBay hires wannabe programmers - yes, script bunnies instead of legitimate programmers. Once again, major changes that affect everyone, with no choice, no roll back, and we, the users, are being told that this is an improvement???? As many have said - what choice do we have - absolutely none!

Simply changing the category now takes 10x longer than it did with classic- this new design is awful. Instead of seeing ALL the category progressions and options in a logical order- the new tool makes you go back to the beginning EVERY time to simply change the final sub category. this makes 8-10 extra steps and clicks!!!!!!
I was listing parts from the same motorcycle and naturally all the category subsets are the same except the last and final one= seat is different from turn signal which is different from air box. This used to be extremely simple and obvious because all the options were shown on your screen and you could easily "back up" to the previous set of options and move down a new category flow...... NOT ANY MORE.
Now if you want to change categories- you click on the final category and a suggested list of wrong AI suggestions comes up- to be clear-( not once has the AI produced the right category). thats it- your screwed at this point- you must start over from scratch at the beginning with the first category drill down and progress through them ALL again.
When you finally come down to the last group- there it is exactly what you wanted- the correct final sub category BUT it took an extra 10 clicks and wasted time plus allot of added aggravation because we already know it should not be like this and there is no reason for it to be like this.
Its just a bad mobile only design meant for cell phone and first time listers- Full time ebay sellers NEED relief from this tool- it is stifling the desire to even list new items- when we are up against inefficient and frustrating designs like this it hampers the process. and that is actually what one of the CS reps told me yesterday- there has been a mountain of complaints and feedback and she assured me they must be going to do something because they are internally noticing less new listings on the platform as a whole!

You hit the nail on the head. This is a total conversion to accommodate mobile devices only, regardless of the pain it causes current sellers. In the past "mountains of complaints" have done very little to see any roll backs or responding to those complaints.

yes it is totally awful as every system change seem to be.
I am actually unable to up load pictures from my I pad now. Called ebay and still no support to correct or go back the system that work .... boo.

I came here with the same exact problem. I am a Desktop power user, I set aside a few hours to list hundreds of cards or update them. No more. The entire process is now 2-3 times, so much scrolling and clicking. That my entire workflow has increased to a level that is not supported by what I'm selling.
The entire barrier to sell now has increased my overhead. Time is money, I cannot list enough items fast enough for the amount of time I spend on it.
This new designed tool is meant to completely punish desktop users. There is nothing here to help, and my desire to sell, and build up my store for the new season has vanished. We're not sure what to do here, but doubling my time, and I cannot pass this cost down to my customers, doesn't make sense.
It's basically an unfair tax on my work productivity. Without Ebay providing a Desktop version, my days here are limited. It makes no sense to keep building up an inventory with such hostility towards older desktop sellers.

Now after using for a brief time, one other drawback with the limited options built in makes EVERY new listing look the same. With basic generic descriptions. I use to use the other sizes, fonts and colors to highlight parts of the description I wanted my buyers to see. Limited point of that going forward. As for shopping it makes it feel more like hours (or as long as you can stand it) of Where's Waldo? I GUESS WE COULD ALL TYPE IN CAPs!! Better not. That would be mean!!!

I did see there is an option to click on that says "Show all Options". I t brings up the different colors, fonts and sizes..

One of my main issues besides it being slow and clunky is that it looks like they got rid of the "find a product" link. I used that a lot...

There is no conceivable way this new "tool" is better than the old one. One annoying thing is all the irrelevant pulldown menus. With books this is very weird. Why do they consider "Embalming" a major book category? And I am sure it is politically correct to list every tiny little principality as a possible origin of your item, but it's a waste of time.

Okay, I thought I had changed my opinion and gotten slightly used to it, but you know what? I keep having to type the place and year of publication about three times each because it just disappears. 😭

Totally agree. It took me so long just to do two yesterday, AND they took away underline out of the format choices. Why ever would they do that?!? Crazy!

Thank you! Going to try your workarounds!
