I wonder......

How long before ebay cuts Pitney Bowes loose from the 'usual' shipping labels now they're cut them out of the global shipping sector?

I always cut that part off of my shipping label. I started cutting the "Ebay" part off too; I don't want to give them free publicity 🙂

That may be a bit difficult with regular shipping labels. With the GSP the contractual relationship was between eBay and Pitney Bowes for handling the international leg of package shipments. If you utilize USPS, Pitney Bowes is a certified "work-share partner" of the USPS and helps USPS sort and process 15 billion pieces of mail annually.

It is possible eBay could nudge Pitney out of the current eBay interface that calculates the shipping and formats the labels for sellers to print but they cannot do anything about the USPS, UPS and other carriers relationships/contracts Pitney.

I sure hope what you said is just you being paranoid. If I could no longer get that discount my sales will drop drastically. I am one of the cheapest price sellers on Ebay in almost every category and can not afford to go any lower.
