How are you these days? For new eBay sellers, I have chosen eBay for my business and I think it's great. How was your startup experience?

When I started, everything sold.  eBay was the place to be.  Now I am in four places trying to get my share of this pie and it's tough going.

Agreed, @soh.maryl  I have been hoping to have that theory validated by one of the Sri Lankans. But not one will answer the question.

Last year when so many SL began posting, i did a little digging. Found a wildly popular YouTuber in that country singing the praises of drop-shipping on eBay. I just hope he is not selling materials about how to hit it big on eBay, taking money from unsuspecting newbies. Since the videos are in a foreign language, i cannot say for certain what the YouTuber’s morives are, beyond the obvious.

I'm grateful if they'll answer any question. I'm genuinely mystified as to how (or why) they complete the whole signup process to get an eBay account, and even post here, without any clear idea on what they are doing here or what they are supposed to do next.

On one of the few occasions that I actually got an answer back, my question had been, "Did you pay someone to set up an account for you here?" Their answer, with no additional explanation, was "No."
