First Negative Feedback

Hello all!

I received a negative feedback today (my first) - surprised not for shipping delays.   The buyer did not reach out to me before leaving this.

What do I do now?  Respond back?  Ignore it?

Best

Mali

Just ignore!

That's the worst advice the OP has received here ... to ignore all the constructive criticism he/she has been given.  I would ignore the advice that says to ignore.

Re: First Negative Feedback

One of the worst listing practices is showing anything other than exactly what is for sale.  Typical abuse of photos are sellers showing full rolls of coins when they are selling them individually.  Naturally there are reasons to show a product in "use" like a belt clip for a spare battery for cordless tools.  But if you're selling a bag just show the bag and nothing but the bag.

Request to remove feedback
If you feel someone has left you improper feedback, you can send ebay a request to have it removed.

I think the feedback removal request goes back to the unhappy buyer - not Ebay. Therefore you should not send that unless you have worked things out with your buyer.

As for the listing - most all the stock photos I see are showing color matched tissue paper sticking out the top - but buried at the bottom of the description is one line saying that tissue paper is not included. That is another Not as described dispute waiting to happen. Dont show details like that in the listing photos if they are not actually included.

The ignore was directed at the negative review, not the responses here.  In my most humble opinion most times it is best to ignore negative reviews and just move on.  I recently received my first neg in a few years and I just ignored it and let it stand as it was too stupid to even acknowledge.
