Final Value Fees

Today, for the very first time, I was charged .40 cents for a Final Value Fee:

Final value $10.01+

-$0.40

I have had many orders over $10.00 and was only charged .30 cents for a FVF.

I have tried to find the answer to my question, but am not having any luck.

This was the item I sold:

Just eBay arbitrarily increasing fees again. Not everyone keeps up with the seller updates, and it's deceptive of them to not email users telling them about the increase. I'm not surprised, it's par for the course for this ridiculous website.

I received the email about the seller update that disclosed the increase, along with other information.

The new rate of .40 just went into effect mid-March.  They did broadcast this in advance.

I never said I ASKED a question - I did some research , but obviously, it was lousy research.

Okay, I get it - and I did say  I should have read the seller update.

WOW EBAY CLAIMING "RISING COST" HAHAHAHAHAHA WAIT UNTIL THEIR STANDARD FEES FOR SELLERS ARE 20% AND THEY WILL CLAIM "FOR EMPLOYEE BENEFITS" THIS IS INSANE PEOPLE!! WAKE UP!
