Why do I pay monthly store charges to post and pay fees on all books I try to auction? And when I find a problem with my post and can't fix it because it is in auction you charge selling fees when I have to cancel and repost item. This is just way to much and I make nothing after the sale.

You pay for mistakes you make.  eBay has no clue if you  made or will make a profit  a profit, broke even or lost your pants on a transaction or  a listing.  Hint:  slow down you go too fast - listen to this  link

eBay charges FVFs on cancelled auctions with bids to prevent sellers from using eBay as a store front, then taking sales off the site. This disappoints bidders and gives eBay a bad name. If you are doing this frequently, i.e., making mistakes and then cancelling auctions with bids often, then your account may be in jeopardy and its time to do QC on your auction before it goes live. Maybe create the listing and leave it in draft for a day.

Why? same reason people post on this site that do errors and then blame everyone else except themselves. 

This site did its job, you posted, they got your bidders and then you pulled the rug out on the listing. The site should still get paid since bidders meeting the reserve (if there was one) means they would have gotten paid except you decided to change the rules.

Hoping you are just doing some soul-searching, and that you are not just learning, after having sold at least 1,217 items,
that eBay charges fees to sellers for the use of their platform.  

You pay Final Value Fees (FVFs) to eBay because you chose to sell your books on eBay.  
You pay a monthly store charge to eBay because you chose  to establish an eBay store.

With a store, it costs money to list a book with an auction.  You don't have to pay this.  List the book as fixed price--no charge.

Just to add to this post.  Ebay started doing this a few years back because sellers were cancelling auctions with bids, some because they didn't think it was getting enough bids but others because they had listed the same thing on some other site and sold it there.  They only had ONE item.  So they had to close the Ebay listing before it sold.  This is a very dangerous thing for sellers to do, but unfortunately many do this, even today.

250 Free listing fees for auctions.

10,000 free listing fees for fixed price listings in certain categories

$25 coupon for Ebay branded shipping supplies each quarter

If you have a Premium store, you should downgrade when you can without a penalty fee as you don't need a Premium store.  If you have a Starter Store, you need to upgrade to a Basic Store.

There are 250 free auctions associated with the Basic Store and more with the higher priced stores each month.

The discounted final value fees are only available in specified Categories and again Books are not one of them.

As noted in other posts, Store subscribers (at the Basic level and above) get plenty of free listings in fixed price format, but their options for free auction-format listings are very limited in both  quantity and category.  Here's a link to the fees page which has a chart showing how many free insertions you get for your store level, with a link to the list of categories where you can get free auction insertions:

Very good point, thank you for adding it.  For the OP, the vast majority of their auctions in the last 90 days were not books.    You can see in their Sold Items that most are for Pokeman cards among other things.
