Fees to end listing early?

Hello, can someone please clarify for me? Are there fees to end an auction early without bids? Or to end it early and sell it to the highest bidder? I have auctions that auto relisted that I didn’t want to relist (as the app doesn’t have a way to turn this feature off that I can see), so stuff relisted that won’t end until after I leave town on a business trip, and I’ll be away for a month so I won’t be able to send this stuff out if it were to sell. 

The eBay chat rep insists that I have to pay a fee to end an auction early under any circumstances no matter what, but even the help page on ending auctions early doesn’t match what he’s saying.

To end an auction early with no bids no charge

Thank you, that’s what I thought but the eBay rep  was arguing I was wrong and there was always a fee no matter what. If I end one early with a bid though and sell it to the highest bidder, there’s no extra fees for that besides the regular typical selling fees, is there? Thanks!

Right. If you end it early to sell it to the highest bidder, there are just the regular selling fees.

If you have added reserve, other upgrades to the auction then the CS might have been correct. 

When I end an auction without all the addons I have never been charged. 

Well if you end an auction just to sell it to the highest bidder you should pay the fees as it was up for sale.
