I recently listed a piece of clothing for over $850 and the buyer has paid to my PayPal which I did check and was on hold. So far so good but when I looked further into detail, I noticed this buyer has the same address but different name as another of my recent buyers. I messaged this buyer if he knew or was related to the other buyer and he said no. Now I am very suspicious. Should I ship? What happens if the item is delivered to him and he disputes and claims he never got it or something was wrong?

Ok, I really hope everything goes well. 850 is a lot of money to lose.

I wish you well.
Do know that for the most part transactions on ebay usually do.

All buyers have 100% positive feedback.

Well I mean if he has multiple positive feedback's then he must not be scamming right?

Is the money in there and you got an OK to ship.
IMO, ship according to the time line in your listing. Do not let buyers intimidate you into making a mistake.
And make sure because it is over $750 value to get online shipping confirmation. It is a must.
Make that "online visible SIGNATURE confirmation".
Yes, Gregg, I stand corrected.
HA!

Unfortunately, paypal has not caught up yet.
Not sure what you mean but this is misleading. PayPal has the same requirements for INR claims as eBay, Delivery Confirmation to the address provided with the payment and a signature for anything over $749.99

But if I may ask, do I request an online viewable signature confirmation on eBay or at the post office/UPS.
You don't print your shipping labels here on ebay?

No, I ship from UPS since it's the most convenient for me. That's why I was wondering if I could require the online viewable signature confirmation at UPS.

I would see that as a red flag. Anytime someone rushes someone, there is the potential for problems, IMO.

Do you mean signature confirmation? Online viewable?

Then it takes the same course as any other eBay dispute. Buyer gets full refund, you get negative feedback, you get transaction defect, you get threats from eBay about limiting your selling abilities and all that blah blah we're all accustomed to.
If he claims he never got it then you have the Sig Confirmation that shows that it was delivered.
If he says that theres something wrong with it then you can ask him to return it before you are erquired to refund. You would only need to pay the return shipping cost from the address that you sent it to - which sounds like a reshipper in this case. Its up to him to get it back to his reshipper in time to forward it back to you.
You wont get any of the dire stuff talked about above if you respond to any dispute that the buyer files. If you ignore a dispute then of course you will have problems because Ebay will step in if you dont.
