Approximately 50% of my sales results in the buyer not paying.  Do these people get negative feedback from eBay?

Just want to make sure since you didn't mention it:  Are you not cancelling, citing "buyer didn't pay" as the reason?

Everything, especially your wasted time dealing with buyers not paying. This is what the buyers really want. It's the new American way.

Most the comments on here look like buyers that don't want negative feedback. Or want an item for cheap. Just makes buyers look cheap.  "Ebay use to have it where you could leave negative feedback if a buyer does not pay."  What's wrong with that? It's just more hassle and time for the seller for buyers that don't pay.  Maybe they should bring back the negative comments for sellers to leave for buyers especially when they don't pay. Then they'll pay up like their supposed too.  You pay for your credit card bill on time, water bill, IRS, electric bill, house payment, amongst other things. What happens when you don't pay those on time?

It should not matter what ebay format you use. What difference does it make. When you buy something pay for it or receive negative feedback.  Don't make up excuses.

Yours maybe. No waste of my time though, since I don't list auctions or use the "Best Offer" feature.

How'd you come to that conclusion?

What? Buyers can’t get negative feedback no matter what they do wrong. Stating facts makes us look cheap?

They do ban people from shopping there and believe me, they know the faces.

Dang, I'm very sorry to hear that.  Seems to me a very good reason to STOP doing auctions.  When you set up fixed price listings, you can require immediate payment too, which completely stops this issue.

Sellers should not be able to publicly shame their buyers.  What site similar to Ebay do you see allowing such behavior by its sellers?  Great way to chase off good buyers too.
