So I had to call and put in a ticket for this.
Yesterday I went into a listing to revise it some, I use the HTML option for description + have listing template, I just fill in the info i need for each release I'm listing and done... we when you click that "Show all options" link on the top right of the description section, you then should get a popup box where you click "Show More Options", and then that right link will become a check box and say "Show HTML Code"...well if you can even make it that far, the page just refreshes and doesn't let you enter HTML mode. I ended the listing yesterday and went to create a brand new listing for it a bit ago... same thing, so I called got a ticket for tech support...but figured I'm mention it, see if others having this issue?

I tried revising a listing. When I clicked "show More Options", I got this:
And when I checked the Show HTML box I got this:
So, it looks like it is working OK for me. Kind of hate to say it, but maybe clear your cookies and cache?
BTW, I'm using a PC with Chrome browser, in case that matters.

There's a discussion about it here:

I did a few earlier today and nothing was wrong. I just checked one random listing right now and it seems to be working okay for me with no problems.
Could you perhaps be a selected victim of an early Thursday night maintenance?

it's not browser or cookies, it's a glitch within ebay coding of the listing tool. They revised the listing tool this past week and it's likely something they messed up...but it's not affecting everyone apparently, case of selective user.

no, that would mean it would be working as should if I got early maintenance (that just sounds hilarious "maintenance") it's a glitch caused by ebay... @wastingtime101 posted link to another having same issue.
Hoping they get a look into it today from the ticket i put in yesterday...I saved the draft I was working on for them to see it in action...the rep I talked to was able to see it happen so tech support should also.

@nuclearomen Yes, I would guess its a glitch, and, like most glitches, it doesn't effect everyone. Hope it gets fixed soon.

yup... there are more people saying happening to them also on that other thread in tech board. I was able to list that item, but not using the HTML, luckily the html needed to insert did take before the listing kept refreshing and saved it (usually wipes out any edits made in html mode)...the only other way is to make new template adding everything you want in that listing, list it, then revise the template for your next item and repeat process.

What about 3rd party listers? Once linked, some of them have an option to revise active live listings directly through their site without ever having to go into ebay. Since these listers use API I'm sure they wouldn't run into your glitch if you tried it.

yeah I know, but most of those 3rd party listers are crud, the few good ones have to pay for...not that I'm cheap, but i can do the html myself, aside never had issue until now, and seeing that others are posting they have issue also they should be fixing it soon.
