I had two situations where buyers leave me positive feedback, but the comments were negative. Instead of messaging me directly about the issues they just posted it to the feedback first. I have given one buyer a complete refund, and the other we agreed on a partial refund. Is there a way to get these taken off?

In the case of negative feedback, you can send a request to the buyer to change it through the Resolution Center (on your Overview page in the "Orders>" section). However, I'm not sure if you can do that with negative feedback that was left as positive...
One thing that you can do is respond to the feedback by going to your feedback page and scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page and then selecting "Reply to Feedback received".

"Reply to Feedback received" only works sporadically. Report the false positive feedback, by calling ebay, and ask to have it removed.

Its odd they would leave a positive feedback when they were not happy with the item.
But do not contact them to change it. You could end up with a negative.
Just respond with what you did to correct the problem in a polite manner.

I got a A+++ remark then they left me a negative. No way to get anything removed from Ebay just wasting your time.

If you call ebay and explain the details and you are in the right, they can and will remove negatives. They have done so for me. I always do mention the fact that it is unfair that sellers are forced to click on positive in order to give justified negative to a buyer, good luck

FWIW, I doubt 99.9% of the buyers take the time read a positive feedback and/or put any significance into the content one way or another. I'd just move on.

Do not leave a follow up comment to those two positive feedbacks because they will stick out like sore thumb

If you keep calling ebay, you can probably get any feedback removed when you hit the "right" rep.
I have no idea why anyone would waste the time to remove a positive, though - especially if it was true. If the buyers' comments were correct, you may well have deserved a neutral or negative, and were lucky that they were forgiving.
And the two previous posters are correct: the only way anybody is going to look at those two feedback is if you highlight them by replying.

If you are clicking on positive to give buyers a negative reply you are committing a violation. If caught ebay could suspend you

When I look at any feedback I always look at HOW the problem was handled. IfI see a professional statement Like "I refunded to the Buyer and let them keep the item." If the response is Professional then I do NOT worry about the Seller. If they get all irate and act stupid then I will hit the back button.

I found part of your post disturbing. Are you actually clicking on positive and then giving negatives to buyers? I did not see any evidence of this in your first few FB pages, thank goodness.
You have been here long enough to know that clicking on positive and then leaving negative remarks for buyers can lead to buyers reporting it and your getting a defect. I am sure you don't want to risk that.

Hi - I'm returning an item - since the early 1990's I've only ever left two negative feedbacks and both sellers were removed from ebay. The problem I'm having is this seller has over 77K positive feedbacks. The item buy one - get one for $3. I tried to contact them to see how to order the 2nd items - no response - I went ahead a paid - and instead of $3 and s&h - I was charged over $39.00. I canceled the order after several times trying to contact the buyer. I had to pay for the return shipping label and then have the item back by the 20th. It should arrive by the 18th (has tracking).
But no communication - and of course he's left me no feedback and I've had a negative.
What does anyone recommend?
