How much feedback does a person have to have in order for people to feel comfortable buying from them?
I'm just curious because last year I tried selling a Butterfly Baby Cover that I had made out of yarn. It got a lot of lookers, but no buyers. I only had that 1 thing up for sale because I didn't know if it even would sell. If I sold it, I would've added something else for sale, and then if that sold I would add a couple other things, and then more and so on.
While I understand that there are buyers who have been scammed, I wish feedback wasn't an issue for someone like me because I'm not going to be a scamming seller.

eBay buyers are more interested in stuff at incredibly low prices, than feedback ratings ... if feedback were a consideration, then a lot of sellers from China would never sell a thing.

I was only selling it for $6 and that's not very expensive at all.

The problem isn’t no or low feedback.
The problem is visibility and.... not sure what word to use. Legitimacy?
One item has no “presence” or likelihood of being found in a sea of literally millions of listings. It’s pure bad statistics.
And, no seller looks credible with only a single item up. It doesn’t look like a serious or committed or even knowledgeable effort.
