Because this comment came with a positive mark I'm not angry or even irritated, just ..... troubled(?) by not only the ignorance itself but the explicit invitation for anyone reading to observe it - "see photo".
And no I don't think she's a non-U.S. buyer; the address was a regular domestic one, and her name is Diane, a not-so-popular name for people as young Zoomers, so it's not like she could be more familiar with the newer quarter obverse design that just came out a few years ago, although there are plenty of the older ones still in circulation.
Oh and there's also a ruler right there.
Just saying, if you bought something for which the in-person size was disappointingly surprising, and you went back to look at the listing to see if you were somehow misled, wouldn't you want to be SURE before you aired a grievance about it? And even if that WAS a dime, then why BUY an item barely bigger than a dime, if you think that's "too small"?
Incidentally, I do sometimes shoot a second photo of an item with the metric side of the ruler, if I believe it's one that might attract foreign buyers. And I have about a half-gallon of foreign coins so I may even be able to use one of those, if the item has a very specific national identity, in which case someone from that nation may consider buying.
Curious, does anyone here have a non-currency object you use for a foolproof size reference? Cuz apparently there are coin fools out there! 😆

And I would honor that return request. And I guarantee I wouldn't hear a peep from them afterward. I want to know how do you do jumbo-sized emoji's like that? I've tried highlighting them and using the size adjuster thingy (like you can with text) but it doesn't work. Are you here via the phone app (or is that even possible)? If you're on the website, which browser?
I am on a desk top computer and have a number of these saved as JPG on my desktop. I simply insert them as a photo using the above icon. I also have the hypersnap app so I can capture, copy and paste about anything into a response, like the following from the bar above.

"Only it was a quarter depicted, not a dime. I do take returns."
Ooops - you already left the response. None at all would be needed if eBay had included the photo lol. 😂

Might be a young person...perhaps putting item next to an iPhone might be more helpful. Some people don't use coins and some don't know what a ruler is...LOL
At least the person didn't ask where is my quarter and where is my ruler in the photo....

Has this person perhaps purchase something else from someone, and inadvertently left this comment on your sale? Did you check feedback left for others to see if it's a dup, or perhaps just left for the wrong seller.

I was kind of wondering that, too.

Eggs are sold in various sizes for various prices at the store.
True; but most sold are LARGE and the variance between 'Small' and 'Large' is minute; nothing like the 60% Smaller Variance difference between a Dime and a Quarter.....

It's possible that she did, but if I understand correctly eBay is just storing those images until they iron out whatever kinks (?) and then they will drop them on all the feebacks retroactively. -Somebody correct me if I'm wrong about that because I'm actually really curious about it.
I think that you are correct on the images.
Today when I checked my feedback magically there was one with photos. Photos were not there a few days ago.
Feedback was left 2-3 months ago.

Oh my gosh. As my mother said if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything...and this wins the prize for let's call it picayune...... it's a cool brooch.

Maybe she was thinking it was 30 years ago when a dime was worth what a quarter is today? 😁

I haven't done much exploring into the topic of feedback photos, but is it possible (if not too late) for you to add that photo to your feedback yourself? It would speak volumes about that buyer. Right now the link to the original listing is still working, but that will go away soon.

I always use a ruler or tape measure when I need to show accurate size. (Speaking of which, I'm fascinated by sellers who bother to include a ruler, but have it somewhere off to one side instead of actually, you know, aligned with the item it's supposed to be measuring...?)
I'm not suggesting that any of this is your fault, you understand, but I would like to suggest that you add the dimensions to your Item Specifics and description text, rather than just telling the reader to "See photos" for the dimension details. In this case your ruler photo is #5 of 5 images total, and I suspect that casual browsers, especially on mobile, may not scroll all the way to the end to see the dimension photo. Better luck with your next buyer. 😉

😂I don't put either coins or rulers in my descriptions, but there have been a few times I've thought about it. I give the benefit of the doubt to people to know that .9" and .6" is not an inch it is tinier, but nope. I have the ruler guides all set to put on my listings. I'm just too tired to add them......

Utterly ridiculous and you should thank your lucky stars she did not open an Item Not As Described Case for not sending that "DIME" or ruler along with the pin.

Even if that were the case, the dime would have been in the photo to help her get an idea of the size BEFORE buying. But she's citing that exact thing as if it were a hidden clue that other buyers might not see if she doesn't warn them.
It's kind of like, "I fell because the floor in that area was not dry like other areas. See photo -that sign says "Wet Floor."
