Feedback Question

Anyone else having weird feedback issues.

My number went down but no negative feedback given. I can only guess is they incorrectly added for multiple in one week. Is very strange.

Your numbers are based on the last 12months. So, if more positive feedback responses fall off from 12 months ago than are being replaced by new positive and the number of negative feedback responses stays the same because they are more recent your numbers will go down.

I am talking about my total overall. It is very strange. Not over the year. I know that been on eBay a couple months shy of 25 years. I am feeling old saying that.

Do you mean you had more than 1997 and it went down? I did have my number drop one once (I was keeping watch cuz close to 1000 or something) but no idea why a pos would disappear... otherwise never heard of it since. How much did your total drop?

IIRC, eBay will remove feedback left by a member who is suspended within 90 days after registering, as well as any feedback (even positive) left by a member who gets a nonpayment strike.

• The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time).
• Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the recent ratings table on the left.
• Positives / (Positives + Negatives)

That's probably it, I guess I have heard that. No way of knowing why probably, but no biggie.

BTW congrats on (almost) 2000 🙂

It was 1978 last night then was 1977 when I checked account this am. I did not realize the circumstances listed eBay removes feedback. I did have a couple of buyers like that this past year so that is probably why.

25 years in May hard to believe, joined a senior in high school.

Ty Am a little proud to be about to hit 2000. Have a ton of packages going out tomorrow, mainly envelopes with eBay standard shipping so not to bad. It has been very cold and 2 feet of snow fell last week. I was like I will let USPS come to me.

Mine is 25 in May also, still remember joining to buy Star Wars merchandise. 

Old is relative I know, day job is a preschool teacher and former student has a kid in my class next year. Now that is old!
