Feedback Question

Is it bad form to leave a positive for a seller with some constructive criticism? I never leave negatives but if an item was not as described I mention this even th ough I leave positive every time.

Positive rating with constructive criticism ... ok.

Positive rating with a negative comment ... not ok.  Ebay may remove it.

 If it's weighing on you... don't leave feedback at all, or at least not until you feel right about it.

It's entirely up to you, but I've read many sellers that will block buyers if they see constant "fussiness" in feedback.   It sends up flares that you are difficult to please.  The dashes might also be construed as negative energy.

I wouldn't take that route. Feedback is for other buyers. Constructive criticism is for the seller and is better communicated via messages.

They won't remove a negative comment on a positive feedback if it is from a buyer.
