Feedback Percentage going down instead of up

Anyone else notice their feedback percentage going down instead of up when you get a positive feedback?

I have 143 positive, 1 negative with a percentage of 96.8% ?

the other day before the most recent positive feedback, It went from 97% down to 96.8%.

Am I doing the math incorrectly, shouldn't it be 99%?

I only have 1 negative.

Even as feedback is added, old feedback is falling off.........so the % can go down

The feedback percentage is based only on feedback received in the last year, so if you have more old positives passing the one year mark than new positives coming in, your feedback score can indeed decline, as the total number of feedback in the one year window can be decreasing.

The good news is that once that negative reaches the one-year mark, it will no longer apply to your percentage as well, and if you do not receive any new negatives, your percentage should go up to 100% again.

one year ago you may have gotten 3-4 good feedback in 1 day

366 days later you get 1 good feedback but 3 of them have aged out or fallen off

I used to have 99.9 percent with 2 negs.now I have 1 more its and it back down to 99.7

sometimes I have 100 percent and still have a neg

it all evens out sooner or later.I try not to figure it out

I just clicked  on that circle and it told me a lot

I have over 1200 feedback but it say I only have 743 unique feedbacks

I sell multiples  to some  foreign buyers and I know he leaves me 30 feedback at a time since he is a very strong buyer.the feedback for the month will be a large number but its only for so many unique buyers

I see I have 2 negs and am 99.7.

I used to be at 99.9 with the same amount of negs
