Wow, I get this email from a buyer: "
i have completed my part in the sale of this item...paid right off...you can leave me my feedback now....therer is always trouble in getting my feedback from sellers who wait till i leave feedback....so i have completed my part...feedback for me now...."
(I did not change a word)
What do you guys think? Rude or what?
The nerve! What would you respond?
Or is that normal to you?

In the past, I've responded that my feedback is left after the seller leaves feedback.
But, yes... this is a bit over the top. You may respond with something like, "I leave feedback when I've completed my part ... when the transaction is completed." If you respond at all... which is another matter. LOL
Breathe...…

Feedback is optional for both parties in a transaction.
Feedback has no impact on listing limits for new sellers, except that it's not a good idea for a new seller to receive negative FB.

I believe I'd just accommodate and leave it. It will make a happy buyer and it costs me nothing. Your choices are positive or none at all, so why not just leave it?

@mygreenmustang I can't wait for the fB system to be canned and replaced with say the 1 to 5 Review rating system or something else ... anyway, I would never get a message like that because I leave FB while the label is printing out, that way it is done and I don't have to worry about it for the future ...

I never get such messages since I give the thank you feedback as soon as I'm paid.
After looking at the feedback you give your buyers, I find it kind of funny to think what this buyer might think when they receive it. Since it appears to be advertising dog poop bags, I have to wonder why you would hold off on giving your buyers this feedback. It's not like it has much to do with the transaction anyway.

Do it and DO IT NOW...........some buyers are absolutely unreasonable about feedback.......no point in explaining, arguing, stating your procedure...... some are VERY LIKELY to leave a neg if you don't comply..... If you care about negs.....just leave it!!

LOLOLOLOL
Your poor buyer has no idea what he’s asking for!
I don’t know why your acting all offended though, your feedback for others is basically an advertisement and - I believe - removable adds a policy violation
You’re certainly soiling what’s really someone else’s real estate.
Too funny.

One needs a tough skin to sell on the internet.

Years ago feedback actually had some merit when both sellers and buyers were on equal footing.
Now with the fact that a seller CANNOT leave negative feedback for a buyer it useless.
Today I received a collectable from a seller who has a lot of neg. feedback. I am very pleased with the item. I left pos. feedback and then checked his feedback to make sure it had been correctly posted.
Having nothing to do I started reading some of his neg. feedback..Most was posted by morons who complained about the most simple of things. Considering their use of spelling and sentence structure, it appeared most didn't make it past 3rd grade.
In the old days this seller could have burned the ass of these buyers with countering neg. feedback..All he can do today is say " Thank you, hope I can kiss your ass again and make you happy"

Bold and cavalier but not unreasonable. We are a new seller and only 2/5 orders left feedback (all delivered). We need more feedback to build our account and lift selling limits. Items are literally waiting to be listed...most likely tied to feedback. No one to talk to at eBay...
My partner has a similar issue, wanting to start selling but not having lots of FB on his new account (obviously because it's new, I think it's almost a month old now).
He went on a shopping spree and since I do lots of buying of sewing and stamps supplies for my various businesses, I had him buy all my items with his account. Lots of sellers have auto feedback left when you pay, so that has helped tremendously (the Chinese sellers are particularly good at this). I think he got around 3/4 feedback just by paying. The remaining for the most part left FB after he got the item and left a positive for them.
Right now he's sitting at about 60 FB with 100 items listed (all under $10 - it's just some tokens that I've accumulated that I couldn't be bothered with as their value is below what I bother with for listing). He's gotten a bunch of bids, and few messages from people trying to push him around because they think since the account is new, that he is new... but he's been hearing my seller stories for the past 8 years.
