So recently I received my first negative feedback from an eBay transaction, me and the buyer were able to talk the sale through and they agreed to change the feedback my revision allowance went from 5 -> 4 after they said this (I never received any prior negative feedback or asked for a feedback revision). So the buyer made the feedback adjustment but it didn't go through.

Your feedback shows 0 feedback revisions have been made. Either it 'takes' a while, or buyer didn't really do it.

My money is on the buyer didn't really do it. I don't think it takes a while, even when eBay tells me they've scrubbed feedback and it will take 24-48 hours it only actually takes 5 minutes. It's usually gone by the time I get off the phone. (This hasn't happened often, but I had a few scrubbed that a scammer left me).
If the FB revision is sent and the buyer says they did it, how can you argue with that? You get into a no you didn't, yes I did argument which goes no where.

bro how do you avoid these types of buyers. I guess stop offering discounts.

A feedback revision has to be done in 10 days when submitted...maybe the time expired.
How can you avoid such feedback?...Basically answering a complaint immediately and trying to make the buyer happy. Refund, partial refund, in your case more free product...
Responding to the feedback before requesting a revision...I wouldn't do...don't know if you did that.
The first email from a buyer not happy...offer something...and not contest the buyer's complaint.

These 'type' of buyers are everywhere at all price points. You can sell a $1000 item with NO discount and still get a Negative.
Best bet- just ignore it and move on. All sellers get 1 or 2 a year- just keep selling and the positives will drown out the negs. Also, don't make your 'responses' too long (the one you did was perfect) because you don't want to bring more attention to it than necessary.

Problem is, the neg brought the OP down to 75% positive FB which many buyers will avoid.
If I see less than 99% I check their FB, most of the time I'm not too happy with them as a seller (from the FB I read) and avoid.

exactly, you see a negative review on new seller you will have no trust for them

Doesn't hurt to push it again stating to buyer this is it for the refund or freebie.
And tell him the clock is ticking down.
I had someone who tried after 10 days and couldn't change the negative I got.

I wanted to make the process as seamless as possible for them so I offered them both a refund AND a freebie. They guy aint budging, so I'm probably going to go with the pacifist route and send him a free pack of seeds to see if he has the empathy to change the feedback.
