Fee Deferral Lies!

So much for the fee deferral ebay promised us all. I was approved and never received it. My invoice dated April 15th shows ebay plans to take the money from my paypal account between April 30th and may 2nd.

How are they gonna make promises like this and not keep them. is there something trinton@ebay can do to fix this? I just want was promised, not asking for anything more.

I have to wonder how many others were offered this deferral and never got it either.

Hi @gamersbaystore - this is expected - your invoice needed to generate before the deferment could be calculated. 

You will receive an email via eBay Messages within the next 7 days that details the deferment amount and timeline, and you should then see the reduction reflected in your 'All Account Activity' section.

Thank you Tyler! I was nervous because of what my dashboard states, which was that fees would be taken as usual. I will wait for it to update as you stated.

Business was so bad this last 2 months, so I was really counting on the fee deferral to help from having my business collapse completely.

Of course @gamersbaystore - just to kind of give you a heads up of what to expect, the way I've seen this working on your account is like this:

Your 'All Account Activity' page will update to show the deferral. The 'Title' line is called "Payment Adjustment Credit - eBay Deferral Program". The 'Transaction Type' is classified as 'Payment'. This does not mean that you have been charged, it's just the way that we're classifying it on the back end.

Oh! Also:

Because this is all being done manually, I've seen a few instances where the deferment 'payment' gets applied twice. In that instance, you will also see a 'debit' of the same deferment amount.
