Were there some issues on ebay  or paypal that caused the bad 5 days?

Anyone esle seeing a big drop in sales?

I did get a message from paypal, can anyone interpret it in layman's terms

Not here.  63 sales in past two days across two eBay stores.

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

Feeling sleepy? There's an app for that.

Yes, many could be valentines gifts but who buys Valentine's stuff online from February 12th-16th.

I would think 99% of Valentines items would have been purchased before then

Exactly.  That extra money has been spent in the candy store, card shop, fine jewelry store.  So, many people need to wait for the next paycheck for that extra money.

Yes but what about the 14th. my point was ebay and paypal having issues resulting in lost sales

Looks like your sales were not up to normal  also on the 1 account

18th 13 sales

17th 15 sales -28 sales in 2 days

16th 5 sales

15th 7 sales

14th 5 sales- 17sales in 3 days

In all my years of selling, I've always had a best day and worst day and they frequently change. Sometimes my best day comes right after my worst day and vice versa.

I've never understood the posts about 'worst day ever'. Before the 'worst day ever' there was a 'worst day ever, too. And I'm sure there will be another 'worst day ever' after the most recent one.

Sounds like they were having trouble with "test" transactions.........Sandbox is where developers "test" changes/ides........it has nothing to do with live ebay transactions..........

Or (even better) 45 sales in 5 days.

It's better to take an average of sales over a period of time than say "I didn't make my X sales, worst day ever". If you look at things from an average, you know you will have days below and days above that amount. You might have a 'worst day', but that is usually followed somewhere by better days.

I have two stores, the numbers you show are only for this one.

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

That was OP using your store numbers to try to make a point. I am on your side 🙂 I have two stores also and sale ebb and flow in each one. Last month, my other store outsold this one. This month, I'm over 100 sales on this account and barely over 50 on my other.

I did not post "worst day ever" I posted "my worst selling day out of last 365"

If you been on ebay long enough your worst day probably hasn't changed.

Since ebay/paypal are not transparent when they are having issues (the status board is green even during know issues) I was trying to find out if they were having issues.
