Fake coins

All coin buyer's should quit buying coins on eBay untill they do something about all these fake Carson City dollars and half dollars being sold by China from California they are flooding into our coin market and costing us Thousands of dollars when we have to refund sellers because we bought fake coins from China. If you see someone with more than one cc silver dollar are half dollar especially 10. Available don't buy they are fake and this has been reported by at least 100 coin buyers on eBay buy eBay doesn't care to stop it. They only care about the **bleep** money. I say we coin dealers stop selling and buying coins on eBay until they stop this crap.

If you’re selling them, and they turn out to be fake, then by definition you have sold fake coins. You, not the people you buy from, are 100% responsible for the legitimacy of the items you sell.  They can be held responsible for selling fakes to you if you take the necessary steps in the right timeframe, but you are the one responsible if you resell them without verifying their authenticity.

Re: Fake coins

The thing about scammers is: they are willing to lie to get what they want. They won't tell the truth about what they are doing as that defeats the purpose of scamming.

China is buying shops in California and selling them is real coins 90% silver in California saying that they're located in the US

US buyers should not be buying US coins from China. Nor should buyers be buying coins from sellers from any location that don't know or care where the coins they are selling are coming from, or that do not know if the coins are real or not.

Buyers should buy coins from experienced sellers that know what they are doing and that have demonstrated that by the feedback they get for selling similar items over a long period of time.
