FEEDBACK does not count anymore ..Bad sellers aren't held accountble

Buyers don't feel feedback is important nor do sellers have fear of being held accountable...What ever happened?

Feedback has no impact on TRS status.  It's been several years since they stopped using feedback in your seller metrics.  It only matters to you as the seller and to buyers.  eBay stopped caring about feedback at least 5 years ago.  Honestly IMO feedback is a relic of years past and should be gotten rid of.  There are plenty of other metrics that sites could use to let buyers know if the seller is reputable or not.  All feedback does is make sellers feel good, feel bad, and buyers feel good or blow off some steam.  It's kind of like product reviews on Amazon.  It's next to worthless in determining the quality of an item or seller.

I don"t think its worthless when a customer states they received good service and the item was as described.

It also gives prospective customers an idea of the seller or buyer there dealing with. JMO

offcourse feedback has impact on TRS, why TRS sellers offer free returns? & why 1 days handling time? if feedback does not matter then ebay should remove it from seller badge so every seller will have equal oppurtunity to sell without showing feedback.

I often purchase things on ebay and I check the feedback always. If it's just one neg, that doesn't deter me but numerous Negs and I move on

That's your opinion and i thank you for it.  I don't believe that there is anything wrong with my response and I think it is a poor business practice to not address a negative feedback be it on here or anywhere else. What is stated is exactly what we do when customers are not happy. i don't think that "one red hickey will kill sales". I've been doing this way too long to think that way. That's why I acknowledge it and move on.

Feedback isn’t included in top related seller requirements.  You also aren’t required to have free returns or one day handling.  I offer neither and am a TRS.
