Just realized that, as discussed earlier, shipping is not showing on the page unless it is Free Shipping or Free Returns.
What a pita to try to research pricing, most particularly on items I know are heavy and I know are costly. One more click.
Haven't checked yet to see what happens if I sort by cheapest/highest price, etc. I don't think the world is ending and/or I'm not wearing my tinfoil hat because I would assume many buyers sort by cheapest (oh, not that word but ykwim).
I'm surprised the rat finks haven't put all of those at the top of each results page.
I'm also assuming ebay has done the math on what earns the company the most - free shipping sells more widgets or charging sellers a fee for shipping. Since we can still charge for shipping, guess that sums up (pun intended - I just crack myself up) those earnings comparisons.

I thought it was me not seeing shipping prices when I did a search! How screwed up is eBay getting, more every day!!

I am not seeing this.
I posted a response the other day about a screen shot of beer tray's with the shipping showing. The OP wasn't showing shipping when searching from his/her buying account but was on her selling account
I have tried also via my buying account & still see the shipping charges .
I just tired on my laptop with Windows 10 edge & I tired in Chrome
I looked up Yankee candle diffuser I am seeing shipping cost on items on page 1 along with other free shipping items.
I am using list view not gallery view.
What browser? what view are you using. Just wondering why we are all seeing something different
There are posts on the tech board about it as well .

Yes, I was very angry when I saw that they no longer showed the shipping. I spent a lot of time - way more than I should have need to - researching pricing today and had to click on each item to see what the shipping would be so I could do comparisons. And yes, I had my setting on lowest price first.
I'm most worried about the buyers. They will choose a seller for their item, then when they go to purchase, the price will be higher because of the shipping cost they didn't see ahead of time. Then they will blame the seller for trying to put one over on them.
I don't know if anyone who makes these decisions has a single brain cell in their heads.

Odd, I just checked and I see shipping on searches, both Lowest Price and Best Match.... But when I searched I DON"T end up in the catelog. Are your searches returning the catelog pages?

brian@ebay There's seems to be an issue with Chrome browsers. See this thread and the two in tech support.

Do you have your settings customized to see the shipping prices? For those who aren't aware, you can turn the shipping prices on and off.
When you pull up a search, look in the right upper corner. You will see "Sort" and "View". Hover over "View" and you will see the "Customize" option, click on "Customize". You will then see a list of search options that you can check whether you want or not, including shipping.
I always have Shipping checked but sometimes it randomly unchecks itself lol, maybe that's what happened to you OP? I then have to go in and re-check the shipping so I can see it again.

I'm using Foxfire, Gallery View.

Sorry - that's Firefox. there used to be this great book called Foxfire and I always switch the name around.

OK, took the advice of Carolines*Things, went to "customize" and found the "show shipping" already checked. But when I did some searches, this time the shipping is showing. Somebody please play the "Twilight Zone" theme song!

Yep, searching using multiple browsers today and not seeing shipping in the results. Made no changes at all to my preferences. Once you click the listing it shows, but until then, it's gone away. Is this supposed to be some sort of improvement?? Good grief, please stop the maddness.

Today was the first time I noticed it missing and I have been doing lots of price comparisons lately. So, I guess today is my lucky day to be thrown in to the "test."
I agree with myboard and that was my original thought, which got lost in my ramblings: The absence of the total cost could be a hot mess of confusion resulting in departure for buyers and it adds time to my workload.
Chrome, list view. Occasionally Safari, list view.

And oh, btw, I'm using Free Shipping on every one of the 53 kabillion relists I'm doing today. I can't compete with the garbled mess it is right now and I just want this stuff gone.
I just want this stuff gone but I did raise prices on the heavy items; we'll see how that goes...

Aw geez, now it's back to showing the shipping. I hit sort by lowest and that showed every listing's shipping. Backed out of that and all shipping still showed, in plain old best match.
So, there's the workaround (further testing needed). I'm sure all buyers will figure that out.
That was in Chrome; now toddling off to see what happens in Safari.
Nope; did not see shipping costs in Safari no matter how I sorted.
