My active listings are showing an estimated delivery time of 1-3 business days within the USA for zip codes near me. This is very wrong. My specified handling time is 3 business days! It still shows this estimate when I am signed out of my account. I ship by USPS Media Mail (economy service), a delivery time of 1 business day from date of purchase is impossible. This is a complete misrepresentation by eBay (a very serious glitch) - need a response from an eBay representative on this issue right away.

Do you have a specific example? I checked one of your listings and I'm seeing Sept 10 - 12 using a St Paul zip code and longer for zip codes on CA or MA.

It looks like it just moved by 1 day (possibly because of time of day?) One example: From my view, item 293214922160 is still showing an estimation of Sep 9 to 11 for shipping to zip code 55104 in Saint Paul (this is not my particular zip code). Based on 3-day handling time policy and Media Mail shipping time (estimated 2 business days in transit locally according to USPS shipping calculator), the estimation should be no earlier than the 11th. For example: if something sold today, 3 business days handling time would mean shipping on Tuesday, September 9, estimated delivery September 11. It is showing my shipping date as the start of the estimated delivery timeframe.

Do you usually ship in less than 3 business days? eBay provides estimates based on your historical shipping time- not necessarily your chosen handling time.
Your first post said your listings were showing a delivery time of 1 business day from date of purchase- that would be tomorrow if someone purchased today. I'm seeing Sept 9-11 for the example provided.

Thanks for the information, I did not realize that ebay used historical shipping time instead of actual stated handling time. When I first noticed the issue, the listing I looked at specifically said delivery in 1-3 days (this was displayed right underneath the price above the actual estimated delivery section). Now when I look at the same listing, the 1-3 day reference has disappeared. Maybe I saw some kind of test or temporary glitch. Either way, it seemed very concerning at the time. Thank you again for the help.

This item is showing 9/13 here in Oklahoma.

Estimated between Mon. Sep. 09 and Wed. Sep. 11 to 55105 (your zone)
On or before Fri. Sep. 13 to 90210 (CA)
On or before Fri. Sep. 13 to 01255 (MA)
Estimated between Thu. Sep. 12 and Thu. Sep. 19 to 99502 (AK)
I noticed that it gives Sep. 13 for Washington State as well, in my experience with Media Mail you can always add at least 1 extra day for WA & OR over CA (sending from the East Coast).
In any event, seems like nobody else can replicate what you claim to be seeing.

Seems like the main issue is eBay using historical data to estimate shipping rather than using stated handling time. I did update the information (in a reply) that it was now showing estimated delivery between the 9th and 11th locally (matching what you are seeing for Saint Paul).
