Emergency Plan

As many of you know I'm still recovering from a long term injury/illness. I started feeling bad on new years eve. On new years day my friend too me to the ER. I had some kind if infection and they wanted to admit me for antibiotics IVs.

My ebay emergency plan went in to action. My store got put on away. My friend was able to fulfill and ship out 4 pending orders. It went off flawlesy without a hitch.

I hope everyone has a ebay emergency plan in place when the unexpected happens.

What a crappy way to start the new year. I hope everyone had a better new year than me.  😉

That is exactly what I had to do the next morning after hip replacement in order to leave.

@lakefor94  That's what he had.  A surprise one, in that most people know they've needed one for years, his came out of the blue.  But it's interesting they kept you overnight.  He would not have stayed overnight except that a part of the PT was really important to our house layout & it was imperative that he understood how to do it & do it correctly.  If it weren't for that, they would have sent him home that day provided he could do the checklist & the checklist was no problem b/c of the nerve block.  It was only when the nerve block wore off (when he came home) that everything got much harder LOL.

Re: Emergency Plan

Hubs had gall bladder surgery about 20 years ago and not even one day in the hospital.  Refused the pain meds and wanted to stop for lunch on the way home.  Which we did.

Hey now Keef Richards is a great guy- it’s the other one you need to look out for.

Alright, I will write down access to my stores and how to shut ‘em down in case of emergency, and pass along to my husband.

Plan B's are always a must when you are self-employed. I'm so glad that your friend stepped in to help you!

I'm sorry to hear that you are ill again, James. You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery and health in the new year.

I think you need to stop getting sick.  We need you around here, this irresponsible behavior of letting yourself be unavailable to those who depend on you is unacceptable!

Hope the rest of the year is far better for you!
