This is crazy. I posted a lot of auctions on designer jewelry cheap. As a estate type sale and my auctions blowed out of the water. I even made more than I anticipated. But anyways I Immediately purchased all shipping labels, packaged items and shipped them out. Some already delivered. Then today I sell another item on auction only for ebay just after the buyer pays places my account on restriction for 5 days and still expects me to ship out another item. They haven't even sent me one payout from auctions even after delivery. So right now all jewelry sent out is not paid for. How can ebay do this? How can a seller make any money on ebay. I understand that Ebay provides MBG on all orders but why 30 days. A lot can happen in 30 days. Buyer can break the item or decide I don't want it anymore or a spouse find charge on credit card and then dispute . But ebay seems to favor the buyer. Maybe instead on 30 days ebay should only offer 14 days. And maybe instead of letting buyers get away with MBG from credit card dispute make the buyer click a button that says they understand that all credit card transactions can not be disputed. Or something like that. Sellers are trusting a third party with their money from their products or items and that third party gets a fee for that transactions so you would think that they would favor the people who are paying them for selling on their platform. Do remember without sellers ebay would exist. For ebay to first open they had to have a seller or a product to sell , get it. Without sellers no ebay.

We sellers have all had are funds on hold for 30+ days as new sellers. It gets better. Just make sure you sell items every month so there isn't another hold on funds.
Need to have a little money to make money my grandfather always told.

I'd not want to be a new seller here for anything right now. But as @12345jamesstamps posted, it gets better. Godspeed.

You are dreaming, big time.
I hope you get your money

"Do remember without sellers ebay would exist"
Ebay would disagree with that and tell you without buyers, they wouldnt exist. Sellers are a dime a dozen..buyers, not so much.

Thought it was down to a nickel. Anywho, sellers are a bargain to matter where you look.

No online marketplace believe a new seller can be trusted any more. They also do not believe a seller who is returning from a hiatus can be trusted.
Experience is a great teacher.

Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

You are right, sellers are very important to Ebay. But so are buyers. Without sellers there would be no need for buyers. Without buyers there would be no need for sellers.

Well with an important note that should be made about sellers that have been away for 90+ days. Ebay includes them in this hold policy because dormant accounts are a prime target for hackers to steal the account and use it for less than honest reason.

Generally once an item has been delivered and positive feedback has been received your hold will be released within a couple more days. If delivery was made but no feedback they may hold it longer. New sellers need to anticipate this. People often think of ebay as a quick sale and payment site, but no it is not. You need to read the agreements and learn how it works BEFORE you start selling here. It's not 2000 anymore.

If I sold a dozen sellers for a dime, what would the final value fee be?

From what I see with your selling account that's not even a month old, you sold 9 pieces of a luxury brand jewelry line John Hardy. The prices you got were well below market value and you lost money. That is sad.
Don't be surprised if ebay requests some receipts for these items before releasing funds, this is the new norm.

Every FB left for buyers is a false positive - I want my money, I want sell anything else until I get my money.
To leave this on a Buyers FB is not professional or allowed.
This FB implies the buyer has your money.
No one reading the buyers FB would know that as a seller YOU didnt read and understand the payment hold and new seller requirements.
I hope every buyer reports you for leaving this FB.

Without buyers, no eBay. And buyers are far harder to attract and keep than sellers. To attract and keep buyers, eBay must make itself a place where buyers feel protected.
In the early days, eBay took a strictly hands-off approach and buyers were victimized right and left by rotten sellers. You were a buyer and got a rock instead of the glass paperweight you bought and paid for? Too bad. You received books described as "nearly new" that were covered in mold and mildew? So sad. The vase you bought was so poorly packed that it arrived broken into 127 pieces? Tough. You received counterfeit or stolen items? Shrug. You didn't get anything at all? Whatever.
eBay still exists ONLY because it introduced the MBG, developed seller metrics, put policies in place to attempt to make sellers establish they are reliable and reputable, et cetera.
Despite these efforts to make buyers feel it's okay to shop here, eBay is losing buyers. (Yes, part of that loss is due to new competition, but much of it is still because of bad buyer experiences.)
Your feedback left is not only egregious in and of itself, it is in violation of eBay policy. That is just the sort of behavior that drives away buyers and taints the reputations of all eBay sellers.
