Ebay removed one of my items stating it was counterfeit/fake. It is not fake.

Ebay removed one of my items stating it was counterfeit/fake. It is not fake.   Why would Ebay think that? What can I do to relist this itme?

Do not relist, unless you want Ebay to suspend your account permanently.

@silverli-85 If whatever you listed was deemed as not authentic by eBay than you cannot list it again. If you relist an item that was already removed as counterfeit, you risk having your entire account suspended or permanently revoked. The best choice is not to list that particular item on this platform again. Sell it in person. Best of luck to you....

Do not relist until the matter is resolved.

Did you get a VeRO notice?

What type of item is it?

Need details to help you.

Was it a coach bag?  Lot of fakes out there

I absolutely agree with the other replies; do NOT relist the item. It does not matter if it were given to you by angels. In the past eight years selling in my account, e-Bay has removed two DVDs I knew were genuine; I simply sold them elsewhere.

To help you, what was the removed item, and what evidence of authenticity do have?

EBay has been known to pull a listing, later give the seller a go-ahead to relist, only to have it removed again for the same violation, only with a stiffer penalty.

Really, you are better off listing it elsewhere. Too much risk to list it safely. You are a new seller on this account. It doesn't take much to get in hot water with eBay and have one’s selling privileges compromised.

@silverli-85

If it was a Coach bag, post pictures on the fashion board:

Just had the same issue my mother recently passed and I am selling a bunch of her old bags but They took down 4 post but left 12 of them up so does that mean I am all good and have to sell the 4 some place else?

@jodakpc

This thread is almost 2 years old.  It's doubtful the OP will reply.

Don't relist those bags.   They will be removed again and could jeopardize your account.  Sell them locally for cash. I'm sure you'll get some takers.
