Wife just had a 500 additional listings. ends today

Just wondering ..... if you are already selling and making money on eBay why shouldn't you have to pay for your listings like the rest of us?

Be glad for the freebies you get while you are getting them.  eBay can and has eliminated freebies in the past when the gift becomes an entitled demand.

Hundreds of thousands of sellers do not get free listings.  We pay for every one either through our store fees or by paying for additional listings. 

We would all like free listings too -- but somebody has to pay to keep the site functioning.

Get a "store" and pay.

Since having a store I have never received a "free" listing promo.

Some feel the people paying for stores should get "free" listing promos before those that dont pay for listings.

We all know eBay has issues and are trying to fix, so why not offer additional free listings? It's just a software change! That should not cost anything!

The more we all sell, the better for eBay and PayPal!

Why not try to close the year on a positive after we all suffered when GTC started and the other changes?

The shareholders are watching!

Jeez! Your comment is rude. I am very grateful for the free listings I get from time to time.  I already pay for a store and I pay for additional listings. I just made an innocent post. If you have nothing nice to say, then don't reply.

FYI, I have had a store for over a year and have received hundreds and hundreds of free listings. If you're nice, you might get free listings too.

I did't get the 500 offer either and I have 4 listings till Dec 1 with business slow I'm not paying for listings.

b86fiero, while you make a valid point, I think our incredibly high fees are sufficient to keep the site functioning. It truly is in eBay's best interest to get the most listings possible.

If eBay eliminates the freebies they'll see less and less final payments. They make much more money in rollover 30 day listings that we all hated and can make more money if we list more. watching 7 day listings roll around unsold doesn't make you want to BUY listings
