Ebay permanently suspended my long-time open account the first time I sold an item. I have no recourse and no money and no explanation. Why?

That doesn't mean their team of experts knows what it is exactly. I posted a police badge from 1948 United Kingdom, and was told I was violating the "Nazi item policy" by listing a Nazi Germany item from WWII. I tried to tell customer support that 1948 is after WWII and there is no Nazi party in the United Kingdom, but she kept having to put me on hold to talk with someone. They are not necessarily logical, and if it was the item, it might be they thought it was something else. Unfortunately if they don't listen, there's not much you can do to fix this.

I knew you used a VPN as soon as you said "'According to our records, your account has violated our site policies'."  That means you used a VPN.  They should have warned us about that before they robbed us of our money and a weather box.
