I've turned off all automated offers and even called ebay and it keeps happening. I don't know what to do. It keeps sending 35 dollar offers on 50 dollar items.

"IT" is a buyer sending you an offer.
I do see that Make an offer is on your listings.
Try the Bulk Editor and you can edit them all at one time. See if they disappear or it has no effect.

If you are unsure how to do it, just ask.
You could also consider setting up a minimum offer requirement.

If you have ever initiated an offer yourself on an item, you may have accidentally had that little box checked to send offers to anyone who visits the page.....
seems to continue into perpetuity until you end and relist that item

If you want offers on your items, set the minimum to your real minimum and set to reject anything under that automatically. Then the system tells the lowballers to get lost without the seller having to do anything. I used to sometimes set B/O at a penny under my BIN and the auto-reject at 5 cents under the BIN when I knew what I had and knew what I wanted for it. Set the auto-accept for any number below the BIN and above your auto-reject.

I have it set and it still sold it at below the auto reject number.

In your original post, you did not specify that an item 'sold'
you spoke only of "lowball" offers of $35.00
IF an item "sold" for $35.00, somwhere along the road you sent out an offer to watchers. Even though that offer "expires" (in 48 hours I think) for that item, and it goes unsold....the automatic offer that you sent continues to each visitor to that item......i do not believe you can expire it, but maybe you can....

Why did you sell in at the low price. When a buyer summits an offer the seller has the right to accept or decline. Why would you accept a low ball offer @attroc

Unless the seller has it set to auto-accept. It sounds like that listing is bugged. I would probably end the listing, redo it from scratch, then re-setup the buy it now how you want it to work.
Make sure you aren't using a percentage off.
All of mine that have best offers, have the minimum acceptable and the auto accepted set at the same exact price. However those that I have submitting offers automatically actually send offers at a higher price than the minimum and the option to counter is available. And all of it is auto, I don't have to respond to any of it.
Despite all that, I still have buyers sometimes buying things at the listed prices anyway, not even bothering to try to make an offer.
Probably because the make an offer is just a hot mess sometimes.
Keep in mind too, quantity discounts can also be applied to an accepted best offer price.

It is so much easier and will only take literally a couple minutes to change all the listings at one time using the Bulk Editor and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, then you way may be the best way for the buyer. But I don't recommend it to be the first thing they try.

There are multiple reasons that I quit using OBO long ago this is just another one. Just list the item at the lowest price you are willing to accept, turn off OBO and call it a day.

Also, check if you do click on the or best offer when listing. It states offers start at $3 or $5.
So you would need to change this manually. I did the same for our listings after posting about this. To our store if they post a median value then that would be the best thing to link a starting bid at instead of $5.
But, that's our opinion.
Hopefully this helps.

So I have checked on many of my listing and even tried to remake some of them. That being said. Ebay continues to send random offers to my buyers, this just now happened on an item that did not have any kinda of auto accept.
US $6.64 | Buyer accepted | 1 | 18 Feb 2024 at 11:25:53am PST |
So within about 15 minutes of me looking at a message on the item from a buyer. Ebay had sent a -33% off offer to them without me having any settings turned on to allowing it. Its happening on all my items regardless of relisting.

Did you ever try revising all your listings at once using the Bulk Editor. Post #9.
Your only other option is to contact Ebay and report the situation. They are the only ones that can help if changing your listings in the Bulk Editor does not work.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/eBay/
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

I take it that it's your 'The Book of Joy' listing. It shows it sold at $9.49 and the number is not struck-through, like it sold OBO for less money. What the heck is happening?

I have both tried bulk editor and also calling the company. When I called I was told that it shouldn't be sending offers. I suppose I'll try again with the additional evidence. Thanks for the assistance.
