I don't sell much on ebay, but lately I have not been notified when my items do sell. It's happened twice in the past week and I don't know how to correct it.

Do you check in your actual account or depend on Emails? If you depend on Emails, they are not always timely.
Make sure the eBay address is whitelisted, but it's better to check your actual account.

First thing to do is check your Site Preferences and make sure you have it checked that you want an email whenever you have something that sells.
You should also watch your Seller Hub. There in the Order Box you can see in real time if you have a sale you need to process.

Depending on emails for notification of sales is a sure fire way to destroy your account. Emails can/do go astray......... You MUST check your solds on ebay EVERY day if you have listings for sale.

The emails are a curtesy. It is the seller's responsibility to keep track of their items.

I don’t rely on eMails ( I’ve never received any the last 2 yrs) I know when I’ve made a sale because I check my seller hub often. I have the app, but I don’t rely on the cha-ching sound either.
Checking your seller hub often for items you’ve sold and other things, like returns and messages, is better than relying on eMails that may never come or end up in the spam folder.

I'm an occasional seller too although I think I sell a bit more than you. I also rely on the notifications to know when I have a sale, so what happened to you could happen to me although I've been lucky and I've always gotten the emails. i have a life to lead and I'm not going to constantly check the seller hub for mystery sales, despite the recommendations of others here.
Your spam filter (or your mail provider's) might be screening out the eBay email notifications.
I have the eBay app on my phone, which provides a notification each time there is a sale. Since it doesn't go through email, they should be more reliable than the email notifications. Again, I've gotten a notification ofr every sale. Good luck.

If you are talking about email notifications, it may have nothing to do with eBay. There are dozens of servers, networks, routers, filters, and applications between eBay's email server and your inbox.

Go to your phone settings and click on notifications. Scroll down until you find Ebay.

I have all my Ebay emails drop into my email address registered on my account. That way I can keep what I want to save and delete the rest.
I do get emails when something sells, but I depend on the Seller Hub for that information.
That's how I keep it straight.

The emails are a function offered on Ebay, not a courtesy.

The Ebay App on my Android is showing sale notifications in a delayed manner. They arriving later than the email notifications. FWIW

Is that something due to your email carrier?
I don't use my mobile device for Ebay. I use my laptop or my desktop. I just find it easier. I know others prefer their mobile devices. I have no delay in receiving these types of emails at all.
