Problem seller. ebay gave little to no buyer support. When I warned others
ebay deleted posts as flaming.Even after buyers were swindled ebay still
allows to sell under several store fronts.Check out his
rap sheet Supposedly many were also taken there.I had to goto law
enforcement agencies with no ebay backup so far.And if ebay didn'r
archive sales records as I asked for evidence i'll have to file on
ebay too.

The threads have rules for all of us to follow. They are complex but quite sensible. One of those rules is that you can not name another member.

Ebay archives sales records. You just can't get them on another member without a court order. Just think about that if any member could ask for another members records and get them. I get it that you have a seller that is a real problem for you and maybe others. Without lots more details it is hard to say what might be going on. I hope everything works out for you.

ebay sucksWhy?
I think the reasons have been discussed in depth here in 2019.
If you've forgotten ... just review the many posts with detailed explanations.
Your opinions I'm very familiar with. I was interested in what the other poster had to say, but thank you.
Why??? Because they like to keep changing things to make it less appealing to list items on their site. The change to the 30-day buy it now, the whole "ebay payment" B.S., the promoted listings that is just another way to squeeze money form sellers. I know you don't have to use the promoted listings, but then do any of your items really get seen? The fact that sellers aren't allowed to get honest feedback about dishonest and horrible buyers. The list goes on and on.

I do not use promoted listings and I'm doing fine. Some assume without them they won't sell anything or very little, but there are many sellers that don't use them and are fine. It is just a choice for each of us to make. There is no right or wrong reason.
Are you familiar with other sites that allow you to publicly shame a buyer? Heck many sites are moving to no buyer FB at all. I wish Ebay would move that direction too.

When a company cares about their Customers they will always Jump Through Hoops to make sure there are no problems ... so the "Customer Experience" is The Best It Can Be.
Here at eBay ... Customers Jump Through Hoops Daily
And ... the problems are many, the fixes are slow, the stress is high, the sales are low.

Those particular sales records are as much my property as ebays.
Actually, will likely flame ebay in public media close to the holidays as possible 😉

This 'Glitch" has been here for a while, but getting worse this past week. Also the Notification Feed has had issues for a long time, only showing some notifications when someone replies to your post.

Been hearing from buyers for the last week that they are unable to complete checkout (not because they cant pay but because of the system). suggested they contact ebay as I have no control over that and of course ebay tells them everything is fine !!!!!
In eBay's world everything is fine ... because this is how they run their business.

I've notice the thumbs up problem happening from time to time for a few days now.
That pesky authentication problem has been happening a lot the past couple of days. I use to get it every now and again, but it has been a lot, especially today.
I have found that if you hit the back button and then click on the post button again, what I was trying to post goes through.
It looks like your familiar with this problem too.
When things don't work and the work-around is to do the same thing twice ... that's a little more than pesky ... it's unacceptable.

No they are not. When you and I have a transaction, you certainly should be able to see your side of the transaction, but you don't have a right to see my records.
Is your goal to get back at Ebay or make sellers suffer because you had a bad experience? You know that most of us are good honest people just trying to feed our families or keep the lights on!

Yes it would be nice to live in a perfect world! But that isn't the reality here or anywhere else in life.

it's the question that doesn't really have an answer. I fought this promoted listing feature for awhile but I am using the feature now on at least 1/4 of my listings... but still get only a few sales from the promoted listing, the rest are still coming from the normal listing. This is the question of promoted listings, are my listings being seen more through ebay search? If i search my listings through ebay search I can find all of them, but I do not see always the promoted listing because ebay decided when (and likely to whom) they appear... is it dependent on the percentage you elect, more percent higher search results? Some say yes, others say no, I say out of all the tests I've run on different listings at different times I am coming to conclusion that promoted listings (for me) are not yielding me a high rate of sales, past month I have had approx 30 sales how many of them were from promoted listings? One (1) sale... that's not high odds.

I am familiar with other sites that allow sellers to give honest feedback about buyers whether is is good or bad. No I don't believe that I "NEED" promoted listings, it just seems very odd how several listings don't show up, even when you type in 3/4 of the title the way it appears on the listing. I have had this happen SEVERAL times to my listings. When I call CS, they don't understand why the listings aren't showing up. I even had one try to sell me on their promoted listing feature saying, "IF you want to make sure your listings are seen, then maybe you should look into using the promoted listing feature.....". So yes, there are many issues ebay has that suck, and seem to be aimed directly at sellers. Buyers will be out there regardless what kind of feedback they get. If it weren't for the sellers, then there would be no buyers, and if there were no buyers, then there would be no site. Ebay needs to focus on their relationship with their sellers, and automatically promote their good sellers, and weed out those that don't make the grade. You do that, then people will think of ebay as a top notch buying platform because they know the sellers are legit, instead of the reputation that ebay has now.
