So FYI this issue is alive and well, still going strong.
In my other account I changed many listings to 5 day handling. Made a bunch of sales (ship by 8/3), and I see in the order details that ebay is showing the buyers an ETA of 8/4. These are to cross country states like Delaware and North Carolina. All these buyers opted for First Class. I wonder what ETA ebay would show had they opted for Priority Mail or Express. Buyers are gonna get peeeeeeeeved.
Gonna have a he11 of a time with this issue when I go on vacation in a couple of weeks.

It's so frustrating! eBay looks at historical shipping time. I have a certain number of listings with longer handling, yet eBay shows an ETA based on 1 day handling because most of my listings have 1 day handling so that's my "historical" shipping time for the bulk of my sales.

Well, yeah. But, look on the bright side - after enough dings, your history will show a much longer 'historical' handling time.
(here sarcasm font, sarcasm font. Here good font, where are you)

Don't know if this is right or wrong, but my clock doesn't start running until the $$$ is in my account. I write my buyers & tell them I will ship within 3 days after eBay clears their payment. Haven't had a problem. I've found that people just like to be kept informed.

Really hate to hear this glitch is still alive and kickin us hard.
We had 2 today that had to ship today, even though they came to us after 1 am our time, but still within "e-Bay" time. Good thing I was not traveling for work today and we got them there really close to the PO close, but still scanned in.
Too many people must be getting the extra 10% on FVFs so they're working to discourage us from using the 1 day handling? lol (joking, of course.....I think)
