How can I to find out why my 2 auctions were ended because of the word "billy club" but there is are two completed auctions which have just ended plainly using the words billy club? 266485841138 & 266483151812 plus more current active auctions using those same words. Seems like all auctions / sellers should be treated equally.

To address this ^^^ point... yes, they should. Those sellers didn't get caught. Bummer...

Yours were reported, theirs apparently weren’t.

Thank you! just needed to vent -- seems like the word would cause an auto auction end... with the technology out there there days! I'm putting them back on minus those terms.

You're going to relist them? That may lead to a permanent ban. Just saying.

Now that you have had listings removed for violating policy, eBay will likely scrutinize your listings closely rather than relying on a bot to target by keyword.
Relisting an item that eBay has removed is not a good idea if you intend to keep selling on eBay.
Sell your clubs elsewhere where there is no prohibition regarding those items.

Thank you all for your good advice and alerting us that relisting would not be wise. We will sell them elsewhere.

You got an email from Ebay when they closed the listings. The place to start is to completely and carefully read the email.

It isn't likely that the OP had their listings reported, it is more likely that the Bot discovered their listings for a policy violation.

I don't recommend that!
If they are very careful and make sure that their entire listing is in compliance, they should be fine. I've had similar thing happen to me a few years ago. I fixed the listings and reposted them. I was fine because the listings no longer violated policy.

I don't think the wording matters if the item itself is not allowed on ebay.
