Ebay doesn't recognize my password

All of a sudden when I sign in eBay is not recognizing my correct password.  I've tried everything, made sure the caps aren't on, etc but to no avail.   I've also noticed that my password which was on autoprompt isn't on there anymore.   Is this a hack?  Has anyone else had this problem lately?

means you have actually signed into eBay?

That 's the weird part. It's when I try to list something that I can't get in.

I haven't checked my settings,

but I may have mine set.. so that when I sign into eBay, I'm also signed into the boards.

If this is something that happened in the last two weeks, you may be having an issue with the new sign-in page.

Here is an alternative sign-in that is currently still working:

If that works for you, you might want to bookmark it and use it whenever you run into trouble with the new sign-in page. The new sign-in page is apparently causing problems for some folks; most of them seem to be using Microsoft Edge or Explorer browsers. The "keep me signed in" box on the new sign-in page does not function correctly. Some folks have trouble getting the new sign-in to work with whatever password manager their browser is using, and a few folks are just completely unable to sign in at all even when they type in their password.

I've had problems too.

On my Buying account, I'd sign in ok...  (yes, I use Linux operating system for buying) and then..

while I have already Bid, left feedback . etc..  meainging I Know I'm signed in...

On the Top Left it says   "Sign In"  instead of sign out.

Still signed in.. I click "My eBay"  .. it still says "Hi" to me by name...

but I have to click the eBay emblem.. for eBay's HomePage

for it to properly show me the Sign Out.

If you try to list something, you're already in; is ebay requiring you to log in twice or am I not getting it? How did you list two items today?
