Ebay cracking down on dropshippers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVhkDKSgm64

Just viewed this video and it looks like Ebay has been getting a lot of complaints about drop shipping on the venue. We may see a lot of posts in the next few days as notices started going out the last day or two. There are some in my Facebook groups who already received the notices. I do feel bad for those that have legitimate contracts with wholesalers or who have FBA accounts with Amazon. Hopefully they can provide whatever documentation is required and will be unaffected.

Re: Ebay cracking down on dropshippers

I dont like any of this stuff, dropshipping, arbitrage, whatever.  Ebay is for grandmas to sell trinkets from their basements, not for people to scam customers.  If I buy a widget from person X, then I expect person X to mail it to me, not Walmart, Target or whoever.  If I wanted to buy from those stores I would have ordered from them directly.  Or if you're gonna do this, then be honest and mention it in your listing.  Don't try to trick me, because you may fool me once (I will definitely SNAD you though), but Next Time, I will order directly from whoever you used to dropship.

Re: Ebay cracking down on dropshippers

I personally hate drop shippers.. like great I go to ebay to buy an item and item comes to me on behalf of somebody shipping through amazon or Walmart. And most of the time, the prices are jacked up. I can just order from amazon and where ever else and save the hassle. I’m personally happy ebay is cracking down on drop shippers.. the term used for these people are scalpers.. they can go away.
