Ebay Silent on Missing First Class Option when selling

I’m one of the many people who currently are unable to choose a first class option for shipping options. I tried listing today just like I always do and it said to Select shipping option, its under 13 ounces but yet nothing available for me to click on as First Class. Would someone from ebay pls let all of us know what is transpiring in the background other than “Ebay is aware of the problem”

Just buy your labels on Pirateship. Same price on First Class to 15.9oz. They also have this bizarre thing called Customer Service!

I wonder if this is category dependent as I've had no problem with the first class option - I use it a lot.  Pirateship will upload your eBay sales with no problems - you just have to link the two accounts.

It's a glitch in the app- first class isn't appearing on the listing form for a lot of sellers. They need to switch to the website to add FC to their listings.

"I'll run it up the flagpole?", "I'll make sure it gets sent to the appropriate team?"

"We're working hard to relieve this pressure point; unfortunately, this takes time?"

I guess it depends on which one you ask.

Trying to ship first class but no option- what is the new way for under 1 lb

@kknobe

That is the new way, just like the old way anything 16 oz (1 pound) and under First Class unless you want to ship another way such as priority

As stated above you will have to switch from the mobile app to using the website through a browser for  First Class option to show up.

"the appropriate teams have been notified"

I hear this response a lot,especially on wednesdays from the blues

what if the team leader gets an email and ignores it.....maybe the tech team only takes orders from a certain group

maybe certain teams have to actually beg another team to even look at a problem

WHat exactly occurred, what systems are affected, is this affecting current auctions in a way that first class is missing how long they expect it to be to get fixed, why no formal announcement has been made so sellers dont think that its a problem on their end?

well that would be a proactive and considerate thing to do for the sellers. But, when has eBay ever been that way? People pay for a service and when the service is not provided eBay should not be collecting fees!
