one of the ways quality is evaluated is by saying what you do and doing what you say

ebay can clearly state what they are suppsod to be capable of but cant do it

This is true. But a sales association could be possible. Just like many companies and individuals are in. Many have funds that keep lobbyist in the Capitol to curry favors for their associations benefits.  Since Congress has yet to enact any meaningful legislation that benefits the "tiny people" against the few "super people" who control the internet, the only way would be through a powerful association of "tiny people" Without the 'tiny people" the "super people" would actually have to work for a living.

And then what? "Union" reps call eBay to negotiate, and eBay tells them to pound sand.

Then what? You're not an employee; the government isn't going to step in and force eBay to negotiate.

"Form a union" is even more ridiculous than the "start a class action suit" threats we see on here regularly.

Sorry about that.   My comment was directed to the type of listings the OP sells.  All cigarette related products and advertising.  Sorry hubby is out of work as I have been for a YEAR.  That's the problem with message boards when readers can't follow the string of logic and don't look to see what the OP sells.  

Yes the pandemic sucks.  Luckily I lost three relatives in 2017 so I was primed for it.

What I sell is none of your business. I sell Vintage and Antique items. Some of them are tobacco collectibles. You people sure don't have a problem with all of the social programs cigarette taxes pay for. Probably much more than the health problems associated with smoking. Are you now going to lobby that no smoking related products be sold on eBay? I'm so tired of you offended "Woke" people.
